If it would make you feel better I will send you a picture of my first car 68 American. I got it back but its in too bad a shape to put on the road. Its just a parts car now and gives me good memories when I walk by it. Do it for the family and you will not regret it.

here are a few more pictures of the car. Sorry all of the pictures got flipped on my computer so it looks like it is a right hand drive LOL. The fender that i started to strip is actually the driver side.

I would love to see pictures of your 68. I am not discouraged by the condition, I am just happy to have it back in the family!! It is a very solid car as far as drivetrain and no rust. I just have some learning to do in the bodywork department! HAHA
