Eddie Stakes has some pictures of 54A Turbo Silver Irradescent 1968 AMX's on his site.
Think 835A Trim code would be 8 = 1968, 3= 30 series (AMX), 5 = Red, A = Ventiliar Vinyl
Haven't seen many AMX's with Silver Paint and Red interior. Go-Pak car ?
about half way down on this page is a link to a 1968 promo picture - looks nice.

This 1968 AMX did NOT come with strips on the car.
I got patch panels from Kennedy for the quarters.
Doors, hood and deck lid is fadded silver.
I was thinking of putting a red 70 AMX C strip on it. Edited by 70MarkDonohue - Feb/17/2009 at 1:04pm |

I got Red interior stuff at other show over the years. I got extra kick pannels and arm rest. I got parts to dye for the dash but would like to find them in RED.
I've been going through the box'es that came with the car and making a list of thing I will need.
I need head liner, sail pannels, and that stuff that go around the doors. I haven't look at the door panels yet, I pack them away when I unloaded all the parts that came with the two cars.

Nice project. How did the patch panels fit? Did you need any patching on the floors? How did you get the previous owner info? I've got a 68 that's in tough shape. Looking at options. Thanks.
