Been working on the car slowly as it's cold, cold, cold here. I got the front and rear windows installed, polished and installed the stainless, some of the weather stripping and bead blasting and painting brackets and fasteners. I also got the front and rear fender extensions installed.

Spent a good part of the day working on the car. Got all of the side windows installed and adjusted to seal with the window seals. I also got the exterior door pulls installed.

Then I moved onto the right and left door weather stripping.

I spent most of my time prepping the trunk for paint. I had to scrape out all of the loose dried seam seal putty and apply new seam sealer. Once the seam seal set up I masked and painted the trunk interior.

While I was waiting on the seam sealer in the trunk to set up I moved to the passenger compartment and did the same routine with the seams.

I had to roll the AMX out of the garage today so I shot some pictures. I also got the rear bumper installed.

sharp color! I even like it without the stripe. This car would look sharp with turbocast wheel covers!

Been a while since I updated this thread. I've been searching for parts and rebuild kits for some of the front end stuff. One of my original hubs was trashed with some moron having tried to weld the steel studs to the cast iron hub.

I have a buddy that is parting out a 77 Gremlin so I had him pull the stuff and send it to me for the paltry sum of $250.00. I bead blasted and painted the parts and ordered new seals and bearings. Here I have installed the spindles and hubs on the car. I also got the brake caliper on the drivers side. I'm waiting on a new caliper piston for the passenger side. I damaged the original during disassemble. New tie rod ends, drag link, sway bar and idler arm are also installed. Next install will be the steering box. I waiting on the rebuild kit to freshen it up.

As a final install for the day I put the wiper motor onto the fire wall. I sent it out for rebuild and plating bringing it back to it's original form. Another $250.00 well spent.

For the first time in over 4 years the AMX is sitting on her own front suspension and the dolly has been removed. I've got the steering box in, torqued the wheel bearings and also got both headlight buckets installed yesterday.
