Hello all. I need the torque spec for a '70 and up, upper ball joint nut. I did a search, but can't come up with those years (or I'm not smart enough, which could be the case ). I'm doing the Dairyland Fabrication suspension upgrade to my "69 Rambler and obviously don't have that spec. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Brendan

Brandon, for the screw-in upper ball joint QA1 lists 100 lb-ft. The cross-bolt for the coil-over spec would be 65 lb-ft. I've attached the doc link below: https://www.qa1.net/tech/documents/ULTIMATE BALL JOINT_REV_06152017.pdf Edited by 343sharpstick - Nov/15/2018 at 2:36pm |

Hey Mike, thanks for getting back to me!! Unfortunately I should have specified I need the castle nut (cotter pin nut) torque spec. If you, or anyone else, can get that value that’d be awesome! If not, I’ll just torque it to the same value of the lower, 45# if memory serves me. |
