Posted: 1 minute ago at 6:24pm Question;has anyone ever installed a BorgWarner 4 speed in a '71 up Matador body?The '71 wheelbase was lengthened 4 inches in '71 this moved the motor and trans. forward from 1970.I am considering installing a 4 speed in a '72 Matador. I have the pedal assy. and most of the linkage from a '71 Javelin AMX.I was wondering if anyone has done this? 1792 MAT.
