Cactus Cruisers AMC will be hosting their Eleventh Annual Cactus Classic AMC Car Show. The dates are Friday, April 20th through Sunday, April 22nd, 2012. We will be starting with a caravan from the host hotel (Embassy Suites North) over towards Scottsdale to the Penske Racing Museum. After visiting the Museum we will be traveling over to my house for a club hosted BBQ. The Show will be Saturday at the parking lot at the North Hills Church of God followed by a Saturday evening cruise to Mesa Riverside. We will finish with our Sunday morning no-host buffet at the Host hotel. I am posting our one page flyer, our two page flyer and our application form.
 
We have moved our date from the second Saturday of April to the third Saturday of April so our event would not conflict with Mopars at the Strip in Las Vegas.

Finally! Thanks to Rich Freitag, Central New York AMC fanatics will have a place to gather,sell /trade AMC parts/cars, and show off their AMC's! Hopefully, this will become what the old Albany show once was.. And with Gordy's show on hiatus, the upstate NY AMCer's need a AMC show fix!  This meet may be the starting point of a much needed NY AMC club, who knows? It's official; mark your calendars, The 21st Annual "ALL-AMC DAY" will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 28TH 2012 at Mason-Dixon Dragway, just outside Hagerstown, Maryland. The event will be hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Classic AMX-AMC Club, The Potomac Ramblers and The Delaware Valley American Motors Owners.  The tentative schedule is for gates to open at 9:00 with the event wrapping up by 4:00. There will also be an AMC Car Show and Flea Market as we have had in the past. In addition, for those who wish to run 2 races in one day, Mason-Dixon will run their weekly Summit ET Series race Saturday evening / night.
 
Thank you to all of those who took the time to participate in the surveys that were distributed along with all the responses posted to the other threads on the internet Forums.  We look forward to hosting the 21st Annual at the new venue and returning this meet to the kind of event attendees expect and more.  Be sure to visit Mason-Dixon's website at: http://www.masondixondragway.com
 
More details about the upcoming event will be posted as they become available.  In the interim, I will do my best to answer your questions and forward any input or suggestions you may have.  On a personal note, I would like to thank Harley Smith from the Potomac Ramblers and everyone who has been involved from all 3 clubs for their efforts in keeping the "All-AMC" event alive.

The 34TH. AMC NATIONALS, the premier AMC event, will be held on September 6-8, 2012 at Cordova Dragway Park, Cordova, IL. This AMC meet, sponsored by NAMDRA and its members, will feature AMC drag racing, car show, swap meet, car corral, picnic, awards program and more!! Need not be a NAMDRA member to race, show, sell or spectate. We will be posting race payouts, car show classes, entry fees, host motel/hotel, etc. as soon as we get things finalized. Announcing the dates for the 2012 Las Vegas AMC Reunion.  The show will be held on November 2-3 at the Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino (www.railroadpass.com) in Henderson, NV.   If you're a forum member coming in for SEMA (I know there are several), think about hanging around through Saturday and come to the show.  

The Friday schedule of events will start with a tour or cruise followed by our now famous BBQ at Veteran's Memorial Park.  The car show and swap meet is on Saturday. 

As more details on both the show and Friday schedule of events become available, I will post them on the forum.
