I sent a vote out to all the committee members on this to make sure they were aware of it. I was pretty sure everyone would say to hand it over since Tom will be finishing the car. There's no longer a need for any central fund. The last thing I paid for was a token amount plus S&H for the items Eddie sent. I didn't get a reply from several members. Tom rarely returns an e-mail, but I think I knew what his vote would be (may surprise some of you, but same as mine)! As soon as I got a definite majority I sent the money to the PayPal account Tom set up. Rick had mentioned it was needed for paint supplies, but check with the local paint suppliers first!
Unfortunately the blower motor I picked up is junk. I didn't check it out when I picked it up. It was frozen so I took it apart and it was badly rusted inside. Even though it looked good from the outside, all of the steel internals (and part of the case) were shot. I'll keep looking for other parts on the list. I'll check out Larry V's AMC junk yard this week for some of the items. I should be able to come up with more.....
