What's the stall RPM on the M11 tranny? I think I have the M11B on the 343 in my 1967 Marlin.

Most stock converters are 1200 to 1500 RPM stall. The BW 35 is 1400 RPM.
I cannot find your B11 specs in my book, but if stock, it should be in the in the range above.

Grabbed the TSM from the garage, but it doesn't list any specs. It does have a section for control pressure check and adjustment where it says to check pressure while revving to 1,000 RPM. Don't know if that implies the stall is 1,000 or if it's just a nice round number to test at.
Does your book list the M37 or M40? The 1967 TSM says the 232 had the M37, 290 had M40, and 343 had M11. |

The M37, M40, M44 have two numbers 1150 and 1300, I'm guessing different applications but it does not state which.
I would guess since these were installed across the industry it would be manufacturer specification. Also an I6 you would want a lower stall so maybe this is application specific. I think any of these would work for an every day stock application. If you looking for performance then upgrading to a 2000+ RPM stall would be in order. Many articles and suppliers that can recommend a specific converted based on your build and application.
