Rebuilding the carb on my '66 232 and noticed on the base plate one of the mixture screw tubes is broke off, will that effect the idle? I'm showing a core carb off ebay for reference, mine is in the cleaner.  Thanks

Probably not, but I th8ink the tube extends to get it into the air stream more so it will suck better. You an always use your old base plate with the new carb, unless worn throttle shaft is why you're replacing it.

Don't need a new carb, just a question about the tube, everything else is fine...picture is a reference only as mine is in the cleaning tank.
