Heard back from Legendary. Seems they want to help. I've posted in the other area "what's needed" so need to know EXACTLY what to tell Eric is needed or would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks Arnie!

I did have some contact with Legendary, but haven't heard back from them. Don't expect to really I told them Bill was handling the seat cover issue for the project and they should contact him, with me as a secondary if needed.

Will call John this week and see where we are and if he has noticed anything about the dash pad condition.

Hi - I shipped out the rimblow last Thursday via UPS and don't need to be reimbursed as Rick is always throwing me a free part here and there for my AMX so it all comes out in the wash.

Bill, That could work but I think we just might send the money for the shipping and have them sent to Tom B. Thats were they will be installed.   Rick J

Frank, if you talk with John also ask how the dash pad is. If its bad and we are changing the overlay maybe we can get a repro donated. Also they do not make new foam for the seats so we will have to live with what we got and add if need be. The carpet in these things does not last however maybe this did. Its atleast 8 years old-new.  WE also are in need of an air cleaner for the car.   Rick J

I believe it had new carpet in when we got it. Not sure about the door panels and such, but as Rick says it won't hurt to replace with new if we can get them. The seat covers and foam are the major items (foam should be okay, but...). If that's all they can donate the other items should be usable/repairable. Will contact John next week and see if he can at least check the door panels.

Hi Bill, I would try to get an interior kit, door panels, rear panels, seat covers and carpet. If you can't I will call acc and see about a carpet. I don't know what kind of shape any of this is but do know it needed door panels and rear side panels. Any help will be great. Anybody have a steering wheel center medallion that needs a resto. I have talked to Dave Prine and he is willing to restore a steering wheel (rimblo) that I am sending and the center pieces. I have the center piece but no medallion. Just want to make this car as correct as possible.   Rick J

OK, I've sent another message from my PERSONAL email and will monitor to make sure it gets through and info relayed ASAP.
I'll follow through - after all, I did tell Frank I would!

Is it just the seats to deal with? How are the door panels??

I was starting to feel like I was intentionally being circumvented on this forum, but have sat back and thought on it a bit. I don't think that's really anyone's intention.

When Tom gets the car he will be the official on-site coordinator and directly in charge of the project at that point. Most of what's being discussed here will be work accomplished at Tom's "stop". I don't have to be or need to be directly involved. I'll continue to drop in here and see where I can help out, but do address me directly if there's something I specifically need to do. I've got "e-mail me of replies" turned on, so should see things posted here.

In reality there won't be much, if anything, for me to do any more since the car is being finished. I'll still handle the funds and disburse as needed, and give any assistance required/asked of me.  I've had to be more personally involved in the project over the last few years than ever intended, so maybe I have a little "ownership" problem right now, but I'll get over it and pass the torch.  I don't think I'll miss having to answer difficult questions and trying to get someone else to take it and get some work done at all. Will be a relief to see the car done and the project somewhat a success, even though it took way too long and could have been done better in some ways. Lessons learned, if there's ever another similar attempt. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, maybe I just see that some good came out of the project no matter how much bickering and time passed. Won't be for a couple years -- one of the lessons is in a couple years most will forget about it anyway... Drowning
