Hi My 1967 Rebel has a dealer sticker on the trunk lid.
It has a nice red "R" on the left, and reads Ken Seager. I have the original bill of sale with the address 1366 Weston Road Toronto Ontario Canada..
I understand that later, this dealership took the name Taylor-Rogers at the same address.
I am in Ontario Canada, and ask if anyone has heard of this dealer.
The address is now a small commercial group of stores.

Hello, Artful Dodger
I was intrigued to discover this picture and request recently. Ken Seager is my father
and was the owner of that dealership.
It would be very fun to learn more about the car - are you the original owner?
If not, how long have you had it?
The original bill of sale is terrific!
How much was the car when purchased new?  Is the name of the
purchaser and/or salesman on it - Dad may know both of them.  Do you drive
the car or is it a collector's piece.  How many miles on it? Any chance you have
other pictures of the car you could send.  Any information would be great.
I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the car, dealership -
so ask away!
Look forward to hearing back from you!

Hello dealers daughter and thanks for your reply.
I have only been entrusted with my Rebel since last June.
The car had not been on the road for close to three years due to brake and transmission issues .
With the help of this forum, the car is now very driveable.
The car was traded in to a now defunct Chrysler dealer in 1999 by who I am guessing was the daughter or daughter in law of the original woman purchaser. That person owned the car for just a few months.
I bought the car from the person who bought it from the Chrysler dealer.
It was traded in with 40,000miles. The odometer now reads 46,000 about fifteen years later.
The passenger fenders and door have been repainted. I believe the rest of the car is original paint.
I have both the original bill of sale from your fathers dealership, and the bill from the Chrysler dealer as well.
The car has four options. Seat belts, headrests, radio and two barrel carb for the six cyl. Engine.
I have posted a few pic of the car elsewhere on the site, so won,t tie up space on the site this time.
Please!!! If you have any pictures of the Seager dealership, please post them to that section of this site for more folks to enjoy.
Welcome to the site and thank you.

Hello again, Artful Dodger

I am so pleased to hear back from you so quickly - Dad will be very
pleased too. And to know that you have the car running and operable.

Your information is very terrific.  I would also like to find the pictures you mentioned
that are on this site - could you tell me where they would be? - this is my first time
using a post like this.

Dad and I will have to go digging to see what he might have in terms
of a picture(s) of the dealership - that might take a little time.
Meanwhile, if you have any other questions or curiosities, I can ask
Dad about it.  By the way, Dad is nearly 91, in excellent condition (sounds like
a car description) and still has a very good memory. It will be very fun for
him to learn who the salesperson was - many employees stayed a long time
at Ken Seager Motors --- and possibly if he knows the buyer.  Dad said
"I hope they got a good deal when they bought it".

I am very glad to have connected and to discover the AMC Forum!

It wouldn't have happened if we didn't have sites like these where knowledge can be imparted. Makes me thankful for the internet (well almost).

Hi,
For many, many years my grandfather Bill Lenahan was actually the service manager for Taylor Rogers and my uncle William (Bill) Magee sold the new cars in the front part the garage.  So I spent a lot of time at that garage, as I went to the public school located right behind it on Bala ave.

I had a couple photos to show you but can't seem to load them here.  Anyway, just wanted to let you know  a little bit more about Taylor Rogers, as it was a big part of my life growing up.
