Checking the flow first before we begin the modification process...

Heads flow #'S                              Heads with manifold flow #'S

LIFT          CFM                              LIFT      CFM

.100         77.0                             .100       78.4
.200        145.6                            .200      143.5
.300        208.7                            .300      199.8
.400        260.2                            .400      236.5
.500        266.1                            .500      249.8
.600        276.0                            .600      258.1
.700        281.8                            .700      260.1

I think we should be able to pick up some CFM  when we modify for the carb...
I will post as we go...

Thanks for posting. Any chance of also testing stock, AirGap, Torker, Indy, etc. to compare?

Thanks,RD.

I talked to Leon and he said he would let me flow my old Torker reworked by A.H. Adkins... So we have that lined up... I would like to flow an Air Gap.... But i do not have one available to test...

I doubt we will be doing any testing with the Indy or HLR manifolds since they require 2 gallons of epoxy for the application we are making the manifold for....VelocityThumbs Up

I will be modeling up a plenum and runner system for both stock intake port location and raised port location... Then I will be machining them out of billet and surgically removing the EFI runners and plenum replacing with the new runner systems....

The goal is to see if the New Billet Vic style manifold gives us the same 20HP to 30 HP gain over the torker like the Vic Mopar one does...

We shall see and I will post as we go... First is the modification using the existing runners... Bob Stiege really wants to test it on his car... Then we go to plan B and C with the Billet runner systems...

FYI... after placing the Chevy and the Mopar intake on the mock up 401 it would be a waist of time to modify.....Allot nicer starting from scratch...
