Well, I actually settled on the Lunati S/S 10100505 cam for my car, but don't have it in yet.
The idle of the VooDoo 702 just wasn't going to be aggressive enough for me, so that left me looking at the 703, and it's EVO of 51 is just too early IMO. It ends up too loud and bleeds off exhaust pressure, which really isn't needed since our stock exhaust port is so good. The 505 will have a choppier idle for me (even more than the 703), but won't be stupid loud and tick off my wife and neighbors, and will still work with power brakes. Plus with the lower 0.508" lift I can run stock rockers for a while until buy a set of roller rockers. And the lower lobe intensity gives me a little more comfort - I just don't need every last hp out of this engine.

I put the 702 in my 70 390 auto, but it will be several months before I'm ready to fire it up.

Rebuilding my 70' 390 this winter hoping to hear some feed back on the voodoo cams. Leaning towards the lunati line.
