AMC must have left the lines over on the right because that's where the BW tranny lines were. You'd think they would have changed them since there had to be some change anyway. Maybe left them over there to allow more clearance around brake lines and steering components, or prevent confusing with brake and PS lines???

what headers and what's the rear end out of? did you have to narrow it to fit?

The headers are Hooker Competion headers...My son tig`ed them for me and i made them into dog leg....The rear is from a 01 Explorer i did the 1 tube 3 inch narrow...It should work perfectly for his application...373..posi.31 spline disc brakes....I finally finished all the wiring last week...That took 2 years...It`s funny because i do that type of work almost daily...The carb we used was on one of Richie Zuhls cars back in the 70`s it was set up for full throttle launches i redid the accelerator circuit thats why i keep wacking the throttle in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F02SEVQv4ak
