I called and talked to your boss. He said it was ok to take the day off. Don't thank me, that's what friends are for.
Oh, by the way, he also asked me something about your resume? Why would he ask if it was current?

Just messin' around. I know some folks simply have to tell the boss "I'll be gone for a couple of days" (like I used to do) while others have to ask - and ahead of time - and only if someone else hasn't asked first.
I've been pretty lucky that way in that I almost always got the time I needed (in part because I so RARELY ever took even a whole day off)
Now I simply tell my wife "I'll be going to Ohio for a day or two"..........  (when you retire, your boss happens to live in the same house)

He could just run it on the return lane but he will have to watch for the golf carts passing him.

Just got off the phone with Mike. It is confirmed. Randy had better pack a lunch for his run.

It will be 1/4 mile racing this year!

Just hours to go.

The Hornet coil decided it was a good time to die. Not a big issue but the EFI ECU also decided to take a dump at the same time. At $322 for a new ECU I think it is time to give the MSD Atomic the old heave ho and put the $322 down on a Holley Sniper. The MSD Atomic is not bad but it has been a bit problematic at times along with the fact that MSD support really sucks.

In short, no Hornet for GAD. Driving the Chrysler this time. Bummer.
