On my '69 AMX with saddle interior it came with a hooded overlay when I bought it but I like the look of the non-hooded ones better. I was contemplating buying a non-hooded type and while checking out ebay I noticed that all of the ones for sale were non-hooded, thus prompting my question.

My car seems to be a bit of a mishmash with '68 'Arrow' door panels, no headrests, but with the '69 grab handle on the passenger's side dash and the hooded overlay. I suspect it's not a very early '69 however, I just think that it's received several different parts from donor cars over the years.

Scott,   my 69 BBG AMX does not have the hooded cluster and has the saddle leather interior. thought it was kinda of odd myself. i would have to check the vin but the dash number is in the mid 10 thousand range.  Lee
