QuickTime has a special bellhousing to adapt a GM ST10, Muncie etc. transmission to an AMC engine.

Yes, the only way to do it is with another bell/scattershield.

Above are correct. The input shaft will be too short for an AMC application. The QuickTime AMC/GM adapter bellhousing/scattershield runs about $675.

As has been said it will fit but you need an expensive aftermarket bell housing. Why dont you put an amc t-10 back in it?

The thought occurred to me yesterday how close the 'short' input shaft GM used was to the short bellhousing AMC depth?
I haven't had time to chase down the numbers, but it would be a nice way out if the short AMC bell could be modified to take the GM Super T-10.

The bolt pattern on that super will not fit the AMC bell. Rebuilding a T-10 can be expensive. Either way, rebuilding or getting a new bell, you're into some big money.
