When I fit it up to the crank it is loose since the counterbore is 4.65 and the crank is 4.5. The bolt holes lineup but there is some play in the holes that's why I was concerned about it centering on the crank aside from the possible balancing issue. I will check it later this evening to measure as you suggested.

I measured the 6 cylinder flywheel I have and here are the dimensions.
total thickness is 1-9/16
clutch face to crank face 1-5/16
crank face to edge of ring gear 5/8
back face of flywheel to face of raised center hub 5/16
back of flywheel to edge of ring gear 1/2
so if you subtract the dimensions mentioned from the recess where the face of the crank mounts to the back edge of the ring gear is 3/16
crank recess area is 4-19/32 diameter
343 crank is 4-1/2 diameter
inner circle is 2-11/16 diameter
clutch face measures 13 diameter
ring gear is 13-3/4 diameter

The stock 360 flywheel is 1 5/16" from the face to the crank face so, you should be good to go. You will just have to get the adapter kit.

Or have a machine shop make you a spacer ring  to go from the 4.5" crank to 4.65" hole. Hmmm... just over a 1/16" thick ring though (0.075")... might be tough to make!
