There's a good bit of stress down near that "missing" bolt, bit the box was designed to be bolted to a reinforced sheet metal unit body structure. The cast iron adapter will take a lot more stress than the unit body sill would... I think you will be fine.

I had asked if the coupler needed to go on some special way I was having trouble but I ended up figuring it out
