Indy told me that this oil pump is a single stage pump. Just wondering if anyone out there can help me on how this oil system works. Diagram of it would be very helpful.

Basically you have to run a line from your pan to your pump. Then from there you run to a oil filter mount and back to the motor. Take a page from Adkins and run it into the oil pressure sending unit hole (This will need to be opened up to 1/2-npt).

Be carefull with that pump, sometimes they come with a pump that is locked up and will not allow any movement without tearing up your cam/distributor gear. You should take and try to spin it over with your hand. If you cant you will need to break it in dry using a drill...or KABOOM!
Working on AMC engines and parts everyday. Looking forward to new designs www.Bulltear.com
