I finally had time to replace the incorrectly polished rocker moldings with the correctly finished ones that feature a brushed satin bottom with a highly polished top lip. The improvement is dramatic. Thanks to Ray Sims for his skilled metal finishing.

Scott:
Still no pin stripe along the side? Are you hoping to get to Collinsville/ St. Louis, this summer for the AMO convention? It would be great to see you and the car again. Steve |

What an absolutely gorgeous car. Very nice work. If you don't mind me asking, what process did you use to to polish the rocker moldings? I have to do mine and I would like to know how you achieved such a nice finish.

Thanks! My friend has great talent with stainless, also he has a special machine that creates the "brushed" effect. I'm very pleased and now enjoy looking down low at my rocker moldings!

Do you know what the machine that he uses is? I am interested in what the process is.

No,sorry, he works out of a large stainless refinishing business, I doubt anything like that is available to the general public.
