I was in a 4 wheel drive club years ago and a guy with a really modified Jeep did the 100 yard drag run in a little over 3 seconds. He got disqualified because he forgot to engage the front axle. The rules said he had to have and use 4 wheel drive. It wouldn't have made any difference because his front wheels never touched the ground for the 100 yards, but he was still disqualified.
