I can not express enough how much I love these shocks, I run them on my 71 lowered Javelin, and my 74 401 Gremlin, and am putting them on my 79 AMX, these improve ride and handling greatly over regular gas shocks. They stiffen the ride, but do not sacrifice quality of ride, but IMHO improve quality. More like modern cars are today. The rear shocks are the same for the gremlin and amx, but kyb does not list a mono shock for either, I found some for another vehicle very close in dimension, KYB kg5550

They are a decent shock if you prefer gas shocks which I dont since they tend to slightly alter ride height. Probably the best value out there for stock replacements

these are more aggressive then stock or regular gas shocks, never noticed any affect on ride height.
