should be AMC blue.. probably nothing really close... Ford blue is way off. GM blue is more grey than blue.. AMC blue is diffrent.. Kennedy American, American Parts Deopt or Eastwood have the correct color

BU-75 is the Seymour paint code for the later color. It's not easy to find anymore...

BU-75 is not available directly through Seymour. It's a special order paint. Right now I think the only place you can get it (if they sell it to you) is the AMC club out of the Detroit area. I sold them my last two cases....

try this link for more discussion.  See item No. 1251.  They seem to offer lower cost solutions.

you can paint any engine with standard auto paint, acrylic or urethane. give the paint store the paint code for the engine paint and they can mix it.. or if you have a flake of original paint, bring it in, and they can color match it..

another engine that the color is no longer made is the Chevy 235 6cyl " Thriftmaster " engine, the color is a tan color that is impossible to find, the only way to get it is to have it mixed.

Good point - let them scan a good sample and they can mix it, even put it in spray cans.
