How much difference is there between Caravelle Blue for 68 and the Blue Poly used the next 4 or 5 years?

EN-66, aka engine blue # DQE13730, top, Caravelle blue bottom. Flash, camera, monitors, do affect the appearance of the colors.

More noticeable when in front of you. I see a deeper or richer blue. Though I am color blind and see blue, as a stand out, more than most. Just I can't trust my eyes when other colors like purple of similar shade, may throw me off.

In that picture the Caravelle Blue looks somewhat darker to me.

Yeah, darker, I guess the lack of silver mix makes the blue slightly deeper to me.

I've seen Caravelle Blue used on '68 heads with black added to 'tone it down'. Just enough black was added to approximate the color of the unmolested block color.
