Wasn't that the one I saw on "Pimp my Ride?" Still got the airbags on it? |

seats are in but i need to bring the car back to my interior guy to make me a carpet. the carpet i got a couple years ago just is not going to cut it. the back fits ok but the front is a mess and it will not cover the entire floor when i bring it all the way forward. so im going to get a price on the carpet and dash to be recovered in black vinal. i should have taken some pictures of the seats before i put them in but i just wanted to take the car for a ride.
anyway my new front seats :
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() im happy with them, way more comfortable then the originals and more adjustable.

been a while. i have some other projects going on and this has been put on the back burner for a bit. i found some nice bucket seats out of a lexus is300 that fit great after a little reworking of the brackets. they are heated-power seats. i removed the head rests because they just dont look right comparaed to the backs. also pulled the air bags out of the seats , filled the holes and covered with black vinal and blue velvet. i was supposed to pick them up yesterday but they had an issue and said they would be done tuesday or wensday....
i also have to build a center console, need a cup holder or two and some other stuff.
well pics to come soon.
also if anyone needs a set of front 66 ambassador seats, i wouln't be needing them. not sure what there worth maybe a hundred bucks or maybe a six pack i don't care i just don't have the room to keep them. they need to be recoverd and would rather have them picked up if possible. so anyone needs them come get them (long island NY). im going to put them in the for sale section soon.

It looks great! Love the blue velvet. With those rims it would look even better slammed

Cool! I grew up only about 5 minutes from Kings Park & spent a lot of my childhood on the water (the L.I. Sound part).
The damp & salty air of L.I. isn't too kind on most cars. I like what you've done to your Ambo - very nice update!
