I've seen worse off plain cars get restored. This is a rare car that deserves to be restored. I would restore that is a heart beat. Look on the positive side. most of the dis assembly is done already!

Just about every SC/Rambler is worth restoring. 
 
Yes, it certainly looks like a very ambitious project, but the SC's are so rare and so valuable (at least in comparison to just about any other AMC), that it is definitely worth restoring.

Might as well start looking for a parts rambler....wonder what 1969 sedan parts interchange with an S/C?

Looks like a solid base to start with.  I have seen them alot worse.  I owned this one in 1978 just about as you see it.  I sold it for 50 bucks in 1978 and it recently sold again for over 4000.00
