The 1969 Platinum interiors were basically the charcoal gray interiors with the exception of the seat vinyl material and the inner door and inner rear compartment trim panels which were in the Platinum silver color. The remainder of the interior was finished in Charcoal (dark grey). The only exception was the carpet which was black. There were no "black" interiors in any of the 1969 AMC passenger car lines.

Nope, charcoal. Just the carpet is black. Everything else including the package shelf, sear belts, steering column, steering wheel, etc are all charcoal gray.

Going to be several months before I start tearing this car apart. Just trying to learn what I can now. Will need a lot of help later.
