Just gauging interest to see who'd buy a reproduction Spirit AMX front spoiler if someone were to make one. Mr. Ed says that it's the same as the '78 AMX as well.

I guess the other question might be, how much would you spend on one?

If you need one to finish the project, can you put a price on it?

Didn't a member from Australia make one for his 80 AMX?

The front spoiler or Air Dam is just the right size to be taken out by parking curbs. They are the one piece missing in most cases.
I have an 80 AMC that fortunately has all the pieces.  Almost nothing on that car is in reproduction anywhere including the graphics.
If I could find the reproduction Graphics if they existed I would repaint the car, but what is on it now were custom made by a Snow Mobile Dealer in Canada so doing the best job that can be done to preserve them and the paint is important.
I also have all the ground effects for a Hornet AMX except the front Air Dam.  They don't do me any good with out the air dam.  And as far as I know that is not in reproduction either.
Some of that stuff is show stoppers for trying to put things back together.
And yes I would buy one and stash it against having a problem with the car.

BUT! It would have to be worth buying.

The decals have been repoped for awhile now for the 79-80 AMX's.

Thanks, I have not looked in a couple of years, they were not a few  years ago as far as the stripe kit goes.
When I front clipped the car due to rust problems they were not available. I think I will order a set. That will give me another unfinished project which I need like another hole in my head, but I have the quarter window pieces which are rusted out and with the stripe kit I could repaint things. (If I live long enough)

An up date an hour or so later.  I just ordered the decal kit for the 1980 AMX.  It will go into my round tuit file, but it WILL be there.
Thanks again for the information.  I have not looked for it before.  Well with in the last 4 years anyway
