Im sure this has been covered, but I can not locate the information here on the Forum..

I have found the answer in the 1974 Fleet information...The extra brace goes on the forward facing side of the control arms and the extra collar goes on the rear bushing.

On the late model or fleet upper A arms that have the additional brace welded in them, changes the parts from interchangeable side to side to a definite left and right part...Does that brace on the arm go towards the front of the car or towards the back of the car....There should be something printed by AMC to verify this and anyone who knows for sure please share this knowledge....Thankyou    Bob Reno in Alabama

Just looked at a NOS fleet arm and...The extra brace is welded on the forward facing side of the control arm and the bushing collar is on the rear bushing....making them left and right specific.

They are in a few threads... my late 71 has one on the driver's side.

I have a post with a few pictures, and billd or uncljohn posted info on them along with an instruction sheet.

Will look for my pictures and repost them, some may be on my imgbb links.

I guess i will check and find my pix and post... i swear i had them before i modded. If not i can re take some images and post once more.
