IMO, that redesign makes the front end look like a 1967 Chevelle. Eliminating the hump in the hood just takes away from the Ambo character.

Here is my mates Aussie 70 Rebel. 360 727 etc. This Rebel is his daily driver and it sure goes hard and runs on straight LPG.

I love the paint theme. The little rear spoiler adds a nice look to the car as well.  You will definitely draw lots of attention from AMCers and non-AMCers alike when you are done with the car.  Do you have any update pics either mock ups or on the car itself?
 
I Can't stop thinking about how I could modify your paint scheme to make it work on my wife's 68 rebel 550 convertible!  I'm not too sure she would go for it as she likes her all red convertible.

Well, that's not a Demon. That's a Coronet Super Bee. A Demon in 70 is the Dodge version of the Plymouth Duster.
I understand your post, but I was a Mopar nut long before getting my AMC.
