Running a crank trigger with LS style coil packs, so I no longer need a distributor for the purpose of ignition distribution. I do however need something in its place with a shaft and gear to run the oil pump. Does the aftermarket carry these?

My set up sounds very similar to yours.
Running a crank trigger, coil on plug and using a MSD Dual Sync for the cam position signal with a cap delete plate.

Something has to drive the oil pump. Right?

What is this voodoo about deleting distributors, adding crank triggers and using LS Style coil on plug arrangements?

I'm interested in seeing pictures and learning more!!! 👍👍👍

I'm using a MSD LS crank trigger, Dual Sync dist. for the crank/cam signals for my coil on plug set up.
The dist will have a cap on it and is used just for the cam signal.
A Fluiddamper with a bbc bolt pattern and Jones Racing mandrels made it all pretty easy.

Exactly, Jeff.

Member acm found the missing link for myself and anyone else going the EFI route.
