Centered below back glass. Didn't move to left corner of trunk lid until '73. They're $20 at APD:

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. I went to put a new emblem on the reverse light housing and it broke with hardly any pressure on it.
 I got one coming from Carreplica to replace it.

Centered both the length and width of the panel below the back glass? I’m asking because I never put the earlier emblem back on my ‘69 after a re-spray and I never measured its location prior. So now I don’t know where to stick it.
