A local guy here who has about a dozen AMC's tells me I should keep my '74 Javelin original, because there wasn't many of them. The funny thing is I'm also working on a '68 big block (427) Vette convertible, and I hear the same from people on that project. I'm not making any significant changes on either car. But they made a heck of a lot more '68 Vettes. I rescued both cars from sitting in a shop for decades being ignored, and not driven at all.

Good luck with your project!

Thank you! There were a lot more than made than most think. I pm'd you.

Hey Pablo, I sold it in July of last year and he flipped a week ago. I see it went to a good home. How are you doing on your car? Any progress?

I can't believe no one knows who this guy is. If you do and don't want to post it, please PM me.

How many 2-barrel cars bring $60,000? I'm shocked. I don't remember seeing that very often in Mustangs, Cougars, Firebirds, Camaros, Barracudas and Challengers.

Thanks for the complements Bob! It was an unusual car for sure.

I saw the car at Mecum this week.  Killer paint job and unusual combination. Gotta love it.
