Check the SEM paint suppliers.  I think there is a pre-mixed SEM color that resembles the AMC interior red.  Degrease the surface thoroughly and follow the technical directions available for the SEM interior dyes.  joe

I used SEM vinyl dye on my dash, A pillars, and sail panels. I took one of the A pillars, which was in really good shape, to the paint supplier and had it colour matched. All those parts need to be clean, clean, clean, before spraying.

Since I was able to get re-pop door panels in the right colour, I didn't need to spray them. Same with the seats, which were re-skinned in the correct shade.

I would soak the seat belts in a bucket of water and dishwashing soap, Then use a soft bristle brush to clean. If that doesn't brighten them up enough, move up to something stronger like Simple Green or rub shampoo. You'll have to do this before dying them anyway, so you may find you don't need to dye them at all.
