I am sending the metals rails off my old door panels out to be mated to new door panels. What can I do to clean and preserve them? Or don't sweat it?
They appear galvanized and in really good shape. Thanks! Dave |

I'm sure you probably sent these already but sanding (grinding) the glue off is the easiest method. I haven't found any type of liquid remover that does a good job on that glue. You would think acetone but it doesn't loosen it up much.
Did you send them to Legendary? Did they comment on you not stripping them clean?
