The original air filter was a Ryco A10 in Australia, which I have plenty of. These are no longer made by Ryco..

287 v8 rotor bosch part no: GD659.
Voltage regulator for 65-66 Classic bosch part no: Re55
LH-LX V8 Torana rear shocks fit 65-66 Classic sedan, Pedders part no: 9044.

When restoring a Rambler or replacing parts you know to keep hold of part numbers and reciepts and jot down lots of useful information.Smile
This way it makes life a lot easier when going into your local parts store to source these parts.

Cheers, James.

Here is my 2 cents. All that I mention applies to 70+ Rebel/Matador

Rear brake slave cylinders are same as XD Falcon
Steering box is the same as XJ Cherokee/TJ Wrangler
Front shocks same as XD Falcon
Strut Rod bush same as XD Falcon
Inner and outer tie rods same as XF Falcon
Rear shocks same as Commodore(I'd have to check but I THINK 1995)
Top Radiator hose can be replaced with XD six top hose
heater bypass hose(runs off water pump) can be replaced with Windsor powered Falcon - you need the one with different sizes each end.
XD fuzzies work as well. That is the seal that goes between window frame and aluminium window frame.
I THINK HQ Radiator bolts straight - you need spacers though as the mounting brackets are on the rear side.
XJ Cherokee headlight switch will interchange - just not sure if I can slide the chrome knob into the newer switch thought. Will know in a few weeks.

PS Hornet door handles are same on TJ Wrangler

Ah yeah regarding the HQ Rad in Ramblers. My 67 American has a V8 HQ radiator (3 core). just had to redrill the mounting holes and slide it in, works a treat.

I've got a list of stuff at home for the American that I wil post once I get home from this work trip.

There are some other minor mods that work very well.
If you space(add 4 mm) to late 60s hubs you can run XJ Cherokee rotors with the KH calipers.
Gives you the option of slotted and cross drilled rotors for no more than a coujple hundred dollarts.
